LBX is a CFD broker backed by the Libertex Group, which has operated since 1997 and serves over 3 million clients. The LBX brand is new (2024) but inherits that infrastructure, and it is clearly aimed at LATAM: a Spanish-language client area, 24/5 support and even a phone line in Argentina.

Its biggest draw is accessibility. With a minimum deposit of just $20 — among the lowest for a broker with institutional backing — and leverage up to 1:1000, the barrier to entry is low. It runs on MetaTrader 4 and 5, with no proprietary platform.

On costs it offers two accounts: a commission-free Standard with spreads from 1.6 pips, and a Raw account with spreads from 0.2 pips plus a $6 per-lot commission, more competitive for scalpers. There are no deposit or withdrawal fees, though it does charge a $10/month inactivity fee after 90 days without trading.

For LATAM traders the payment methods are a differentiator: it accepts Mercado Pago (Argentina), PIX (Brazil) and PSE (Colombia), plus cards, Skrill, Neteller and crypto. About 93% of withdrawals are processed automatically.

The point to keep in mind is regulation: the operating licence is from the FSC of Mauritius (offshore), not tier-1 like FCA or ASIC. The Libertex Group backing (regulated by CySEC and BaFin) adds confidence, but it is worth weighing. For active trading with moderate capital from LATAM, LBX is a solid option.
