FP Markets is an Australian broker operating since 2005, one of the longest-running names in the CFD industry, with dual tier-1 regulation from ASIC (Australia) and CySEC (Cyprus).

Its strongest point is platform coverage: MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, TradingView and IRESS for direct market access to shares — a range few brokers match. It lists over 10,000 instruments across forex, indices, commodities, share CFDs, crypto, bonds and ETFs.

On costs, the Raw account offers spreads from 0.0 pips with a commission of roughly $3 per side per lot, while the commission-free Standard account starts from around 1.0 pips. The minimum deposit is $100 and maximum leverage reaches 1:500 depending on the entity and the instrument.

The trade-off is the entry barrier: $100 is higher than the $10–$20 asked by several brokers on this list, and leverage under the regulated entities is capped lower than at offshore brokers.
